We have to do three interviews, three interview need to interview people who comes from Saudi Arabia. My second interview I invited my friends Mohammed. He is a 21-year-old male is an international student who lives in Saudi Arabia. He came to the United State 2 years. He major is international business. As we know ,there are so many differences between culture of the East and West that I can not list all of their different aspects. I will focus on the differences of diet custom and teaching system. For your better understanding. So, even though we are friends, sometime I cannot understand his thought and character.

3. Country Report
1 General situation

"Saudi Arabia" in Arabic means "happiness of the desert."It is one of Arabic countries . It is bordered by Jordan, and Iraq on the north and northeast, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates on the east, Oman on the southeast, and Yemen on the south. It is also connected to Bahrain by the King Fahd Causeway. The Red Sea lies to its west, and the Arab Gulf lies to the northeast. Saudi Arabia has an area of approximately 2,149,690 km2,(2million one hundred and forty thousand and six hundred and ninety km) and it has an estimated population of 27 million, of which 8.8 million are registered foreign expatriates and an estimated 1.5 million are illegal immigrants. Saudi nationals comprise an estimated 16 million people. The flag of Saudi Arabia is the flag used by the government of Saudi Arabia since March 15, 1973. It is a green flag featuring in white an Arabic inscription and a sword. The script on the flag is written in the Thuluth script. It is the shahada or Islamic declaration of faith:"There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah"  The flag is manufactured with identical obverse and reverse sides, to ensure the shahada reads correctly, from right to left, from either side. The sword points to the left on both sides, in the direction of the script. The flag is sinister hoisted, meaning that it is hoisted to the left of the flagpole, as viewed from the obverse (front) side.
2 Economy

Saudi Arabia's command economy is petroleum-based; roughly 75% of budget revenues and 90% of export earnings come from the oil industry. The oil industry comprises about 45% of Saudi Arabia's gross domestic product, compared with 40% from the private sector. Saudi Arabia officially has about 260 billion barrels of oil reserves, comprising about one-fifth of the world's proven total petroleum reserves.
Saudi Arabia is one of only a few fast-growing countries in the world with a relatively high per capita income of $24,200 (2010). Saudi Arabia will be launching six "economic cities" which are planned to be completed by 2020. These six new industrialized cities are intended to diversify the economy of Saudi Arabia, and are expected to increase the per capita income. The cities will be spread around Saudi Arabia to promote diversification for each region and their economy, and the cities are projected to contribute $150 billion to the GDP.
However the urban areas of Riyadh and Jeddah are expected to contribute $287 billion dollars by the year 2020.
3 Religion

There are about 25 million people who are Muslim, or 97% of the total population. Data for Saudi Arabia comes primarily from general population surveys, which are less reliable than censuses or large-scale demographic and health surveys for estimating minority-majority ratios. The vast majority of the people of Saudi Arabia are Sunni Muslims. Islam is the established religion, and as such its institutions receive government support.  Mecca [ˈmækːɐ]) is a city in the Hijaz and the capital of Makkah province in Saudi Arabia. The city is located 73 km inland from Jeddah in a narrow valley at a height of 277 m above sea level. Its resident population in 2008 was 1.7 million, although visitors more than double this number every year during Ramadan.
