Library Book Review of Five Classmates

 

 

 

1.Minjie Zhu

She choose the book is The West and China since 1500. It wrote by John S Gregory.The book was printed and bound in Great Britain by Antony Rowe Ltd, Chippenham and Eastbourne. The book author is not Chinese people, After I teach the Chinese history and culture class in china, it just Chinese teacher teach Chinese students. I want to stand on different way to see this history and culture. I want know what the foreigner think china.

2. Victoria Peterson 

She book name is The Mummy. The Mummy is a book written by E.A. Wallis Budge. The book covers a lot of information about ancient Egyptian society. The book narrate about geography, heiroglyphs, funerals, and other aspects of the Eyptian people.

3. Brandon Doege 

Brandon Doege choose the book is Vietnam the (last) war the U.S. lost. This book written by Joe Allen. He interest this book written about the Vietnam war in regards to how people saw the war unfold and their feelings towards the war.

4. Faisal Alhajri 

His book name is The Old Man and the Sea. He choose this book because he already read it, and he found it is a beautiful book. The author name is Ernest Hemingway. It printed in New York, United State of America. 1st edition 1952. This book is talking about an old man who has a very good experience in fishing. Also, this book talked about the 84 days trip with a young boy without catching any fish. He struggled in the 84 day, but after that he catches his dream fish after a lot of barriers he faced.

5. Saif al 

He choose the book is Japan its history and culture. The book author is W. Scott Morton. This book printed in New York on 1834. He want know more about the Japanese people and their culture, and He found this book contains both important things culture and the history.  Crowell company printed the book in the USA, and that was only one company printed this book, no re-printed.
